Bio/Artist Statement:
Life is a composition of many stories, every person, building, park, animal and plant has a story to tell and it’s these tales that bind us together as we travel through life. It is my hope that the art I create will evoke a new experience or recall a lost memory as you gaze upon it. Please take a moment to come and share a little bit of my story of life.

Born and raised in Denver Colorado, I moved to San Jose California in 1986 seeking a change. Currently, I live in Gilroy with my loving husband and two sons and enjoy spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors. I also run a window & door company in San Jose. Art has been a passion since my early childhood and is the outlet I use to express my emotions and thoughts. When I paint, I draw from that place in my heart that allows me to express my feelings through my creativity. Whether I feel anger, pain, sorrow, happiness or a combination thereof, these emotions are what drive me, but my soul and life experiences are what inspire me.

Through the years I have had the opportunity to learn and experiment with many different styles ranging from Traditional to Modern. My technique evolved as I continued to experiment and educate myself. The colors and textures that I like to use are vibrant and bold and tend to blend and mold as one. Just as a moment in time cannot be duplicated, no two pieces of my work are ever the same, they are expressions of life.
